I don't offer many proof Trade dollars, and the reason is simple. I don't like the vast majority of the affordable ones. To be clear, there are plenty PF 65 and 66 graded coins that I like, but the prices get pretty steep, pretty quick. So, among the ones I see graded 62 thru 64, most of them are just plain...not very pleasing or attractive. This coin is lovely, and belies the assigned grade, in my opinion. There are some hairlines to be found for sure - they are the great equalizer with proofs, easy to acquire and the only real means with which to grade the coins - but they are well within reason for even a nice 63 coin. The mirrors are full and quite deep, and the toning is a lovely, medium golden blue. Everything is even, consistent and distraction-free. The strike, of course, is full. Eye appeal is excellent. Find a better one at this grade level if you can...and then sell it to me for a profit!
