1881-S Morgan Dollar Gen 1.0 ANACS MS63 PL

Its interesting to me...back in 1989 and 1990, when this holder was made, the grading standards were generally tighter than today, but the PL and DMPL designations were more loosely applied. Not here my friends! This coin, in a Gen 1.0 holder, is not only conservatively graded, it is very solidly prooflike and would easily meet that standard today. The coin is also magnificently toned at the rims, with the centers remaining bright white. Very pretty, in a cool holder and as appealing a 63 as you're likely to find.
