1883-CC $5 Liberty Head Half Eagle PCGS F15 CAC

CAC approved. Not many of these are CAC approved in the lower grades. If you have a spare $15k or so, you can probably hunt down one of the 11 AU58's that wear a bean, but in lower, more affordable grades, that search becomes long and arduous. A PCGS VF30 CAC sold at Legend in April 2022, but everything else below XF45 was years ago. The coin is really sweet, especially considering the long, hard use it experienced on the frontier. A keeper!
