The strike, while very solid, lacks a bit of true crispness, based purely on die wear...these dies were in need of sprucing up or replacing. But the coin is completely lovely, and this is not an easy date to find thus. There are no spots, the color is magnificent and the eye appeal is outstanding. A tiny planchet flaw, as made, is in the field below TE, but all else is quite special.
