1902-S Morgan Dollar PCGS MS63 CAC

CAC approved. This is my favorite of the late-date, San Francisco Morgans, and it also happens to be among the most reasonably priced. Yes, you could buy a 1900-S dollar for less, and that would certainly suffice in a 20th Century, All-Mints type set. But to me, it makes sense to spend just a touch more and get something that is a little less common. This coin is bright white and fully frosty, with just a hint of gold hugging tight to the rims. The strike is a little soft over the ear, but the hint of flash compensates, in my humble opinion.
