Not sent to CAC due to value, but absolutely certain to Green, and quite frankly, I see this as a great candidate for Gold. I grade the coin 64, and actually expect to see it in a 64+ holder if it were to be sent in again. If I'm being brutally honest, I've seen coins in 65 holders that are not as nice as this...and I'm willing to bet you have too. There is one nearly significant contact mark in the hair, and a small scrape semi-hidden in the eagle's tail feathers, but that's it. The portrait, the fields...they are clean. The luster is intense, and the bare hint of light gold is exactly what a completely original 1935 dollar should display. The strike is nearly full, and the eye appeal far exceeds what you'll be expecting based on the assigned grade. Yes, we can agree that my price is a bit on the salty side. But I promise, you'll love the coin.
