1935-S Washington Quarter old ANACS MS65

An incredibly choice, drop-dead original coin. It is dusty, drop-dead original, beautiful, fully lustrous and well struck, and contained in an ancient, 6-digit serial numbered, Cache style holder...that is perfect. The holder (ok, the coin too) has been in a Northeastern safe deposit box since the late 1980's. The owner sent hundreds of coins in to be graded, in a few groups, and we recently bought a couple hundred coins from this source, in consecutively numbered Cache holders. Most of the coins we recently bought were semi-key Lincolns (including 25 or so 31-S cents), but a few strays were involved as well...this coin being a happy one of them. Not rare, but with stunning freshness and eye appeal.
